I was glad when they said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD!"  Psalm 122:1

Sunday morning:
7:30 AM

If you are interested in a less formal, “smaller” worship experience our early morning service in the Chapel may be for you!  This service is a brief service of Word and Holy Communion, about 45 minutes.  Generally, there is no singing or chanting.  We gather to hear scripture and a sermon, pray, and receive communion at the altar rail.  The Chapel is in the Educational Building, straight ahead, as you enter the driveway.

8:45 AM - Education Hour
Our education hour begins at 8:45. Classes are offered for all ages, from preschool through adult. The children's Sunday School opens with music in the Adult III room.

10:00 AM
This is our more formal service, held in the Sanctuary in the first building you’ll see from the driveway.  It is a service of Word and Holy Communion with a full liturgy, complete with hymns and a variety of music.  The bulletin will guide you through the service, providing scripture passages, prayers and hymnal page numbers.  The TLC Choir, the Canterbury Ringers Bell Choir, and the Children's Sunday School participate regularly. Our TLC Praise Band leads this service occasionally and the Of Land and Seasons Liturgy is used quarterly.

Communion may be distributed either at the altar rail or the Baptismal font on the main floor.  The bulletin and the ushers will direct participants.  Bible Story time is offered for the younger folks during this service; children are excused during the sermon and return to share communion with their families.

Holy Communion Practices:
All baptized persons who believe Christ is present in the sacrament are welcome to communion.  At all services, communion can be delivered to the pew if needed; simply inform an usher or the Pastor as you enter the service.  Children are welcome to receive the sacrament as early as they indicate their interest, for it is Christ who calls all his children to his Table of Grace.  Parents are invited to speak with the Pastor about a visit to the home to introduce the sacrament to the child with their family.

Healing Service
Most of the year, on the first Sunday of each month, a Healing Service is offered in the Chapel at 4 PM.
This is a quiet service of Word and Holy Communion, and includes a time for anointing and prayer by the pastor, with those who desire it.

During the months of January, February, and March we take this service “on the road” to area nursing homes; the date and time is determined by the facility visited.  The TLC Band leads this service using well known and favorite hymns of the season.

Throughout the year we also offer a variety of occasional services: a blessing of the animals, a celebration of agriculture and the turn of the seasons (the Of the Land and Seasons liturgy), evening worship services in summer, Wednesday Evening Lenten services, and 7:00 AM services every day during Holy Week.
